I wrote this song during a period of work with Shipibo lineage, in a process of Sama - dieta.
Bewa means "song" in their language.
When shipibo chant, sometimes you hear "ea ronki bewai" which translates to "they say" - it is not the individual singing, but rather the plants themselves are singing through the vessel of the singer.
